AIH Winner of the 2025 Washington Veterans & Families Award

AWB Awards Evening of Excellence
The Association for Integrated Healing, Olympia, received the Washington Veterans and Families Award during the 2025 Evening of Excellence, AWB’s annual awards gala, held Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle. AIH helps veterans and military families reenter the workforce with purpose. Through a partnership with WorkEx, a Department of Defense SkillBridge program, it offers hands-on internships that help transitioning service members explore meaningful civilian careers

We recognize the weight of service because we have lived it and alongside it. We are Veterans, First Responders, and family members serving those who serve and those who have served.

“Every treatment protocol should be dictated by the wisdom of the patient’s own body”

Integrated Care and Holistic Healing for Those Who Serve and Their Families

Healing is possible for Heroes living with trauma, pain, and anxiety. Integrated healing modalities unlock the body’s natural ability to heal.

When insurance falls short, AIH bridges the financial and healing gaps so Veterans, First Responders, and their families can access the care they need to truly heal.

Healing the Whole Person: Holistic, Integrated Care

Healing, Access, Impact

Veterans, Service Members, First Responders, and their families who receive integrated healing therapies through AIH report profound improvements in trauma recovery and measurable gains in their quality of life. These therapies not only support personal healing but also play a vital role in suicide prevention and awareness.

More often than not, insurance often provides limited coverage for these therapies, leaving many of our service members without the care they need during critical moments of recovery. For some, insurance does not cover these treatments at all, creating barriers to healing.

AIH Fills the Gap.

The Association for Integrated Healing (AIH), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides healing sessions to individuals affected by trauma. Your tax-deductible donation removes financial barriers and ensures continuity of care, helping those who need it most access the life-changing support they deserve.

Results from Heroes

“When I started this program I suffered from high levels of pain in the shoulder hip and lower back areas they were usually a level 8 on a ‘pain scale’ of 1-10. I still had to take care of my children, wife, and work now since I definitely enjoy massage and I know it works and it’s always good to mix different types of practices to help it. I’ve been able to work better, move around more, get more energy out, and manage to do everything with a lot less pain massage working the muscles I’ve seen work well with me and my wife and others and I think it should be a constant thing not just a short-term physical therapy thing. I think it should be slightly separate from physical therapy as in maintenance of the body kind of like how you change the oil and check the oil in your car or double check the air in your tires just a constant preventive maintenance thing you shouldn’t have to have serious physical or long-term wear down injuries of the body to have massage I feel it should be part of the regular maintenance for the taking care of a person’s body no just like exercise and eating right.”

I came to Kim and CranioSacral Therapy through a friend. Prior to my sessions with Kim, I had very little knowledge or preconceived ideas about CranioSacral Therapy, which is exactly how I wanted to approach it. From the moment I walked through the door she made me feel at ease. Very gentle and soft, but focused. Before we started she created a space of openness and safety in which I could express, say, or feel anything that came up. What resulted from that environment was a safely guided (but not coerced) journey into some of my deepest wounds and trauma. Within those wounds were anger and rage. Beyond the anger was sadness. I felt I was able to release some of that and let go of what I had been holding on to for so long.  My experience with Kim and CranioSacral Therapy has helped me to understand the notion that within the pain is the medicine. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking to heal and grow.”
